Innovation Capital Network (ICN) Intro Event
Introducing Global Innovation Funding
The key economic drivers, entrepreneurs, from almost all developed countries had been funded by international investors. The majority of the capital from Silicon Valley VCs and major European VCs, still today, is coming from partners from around the world. About 90% of that capital is no longer invested in the best opportunities but in the most convenient ones. By far the biggest hurdle for foreign investments remains to be lack of adequate FDI Policies (Foreign Direct Investment), unclear jurisdictions, and lack of trust in the local political structures.
The World Innovations Forum Foundation has developed a model where highly innovative companies from all over the world, registered a headquarter in Singapore, yet keep the operational business and team in the respective country. The Innovation Capital Network Program with partners all over the globe is committed to funding the best opportunities in the fastest-growing economies.
